The on-site improvement IoT tool 'Genba Vision' developed by Matsuda Electric Industry Co., Ltd. is an IoT system that allows anyone to easily and intuitively operate functions such as recording production status and handling operations during abnormal detection using a touch panel monitor. The on-site improvement IoT tool 'Genba Vision' developed by Matsuda Electric Industry Co., Ltd. is an IoT system that allows anyone to easily and intuitively operate functions such as recording production status and handling operations during anomaly detection using a touch panel monitor. We would like to introduce a case where it was adopted in a manufacturing site. ■ Situation Before Implementation When there was an uneven arrangement of the ejection pins, the molded products would get caught and not release properly when being ejected, resulting in them being tilted. ■ After Implementation (Data Analysis and Cause Investigation) By analyzing the equipment downtime data obtained from this product, we identified the molding machines that frequently stopped. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that when releasing the molded products from the mold, the position of the ejection pins was causing the products to remain in the mold without being released properly, leading to the stoppages. ■ After Implementation (Countermeasures) By changing the position of the pins and utilizing air blow to assist with the release, the issues with releasing the products were significantly reduced. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
